I give him props because as dope as Section 80 is as a project it didn't really have anything that would have worked on radio..

Also I think the production on GKMC is a step above Section 80

But with GKMC he was able to make a cohesive album that had songs that worked great for radio without making cliche radio songs and still was able to tell his story.

Either way with Overly Dedicated, Section 80, GKMC all of dudes projects are high quality..

There are a lot of sick songs on the album but I fukk with section.80 more. That's the real classic. Maybe it's just me, but it gets deeper each time I listen to it and it's been a couple of year. That quality is rare. I was just thinking this earlier today too.

And Keishas Song and Ronald Reagan Era are my fave songs of Section.80. Maybe I should revisit it.

GKMC are still getting regular spins though, shyt is amazing all the way through. To me all songs are 4.5/5 or 5/5 except Backseat Freestyle, its a 3.5/5 but that's just because I find the beat annoying.

pretty much. its easier for me to put someone on Kendrick with ADHD or Hiiipower than most of the joints on GKMC. i think he made a really good album though, especially for a major label joint

Hard to choose

GKMC is a great album as a whole, from start to finish. S80 is not, it's a collection of dope tracks with up's and down's. Some of his best work is on there though.
