I 100% co-sign this. At first when GKMC, I thought they were tied in terms of quality with GKMC slightly edging ahead because it's got songs that can be played on the radio but as I sat with both of them longer, I decided that Section.80 is definitely the better album.

Production wise, I prefer it since it has the TDE sound more and I thought he was slightly sharper lyrically on that album as well.

Plus it has the GOAT interlude that is 'Chapter Six' :wow:

I think section 80 is better. Just more cohesive and well rounded. Although GKMC was really cohesive with the storyline and it didn't shade away from the concept. To me GKMC was one of the best albums of that yr. That 2012 felt like Kendrick, Nas, and Ab-Soul. I was rotating those albums that year.

Six in one hand and a half dozen in the other :yeshrug:

On any given day I prefer the Overly Dedicated mixtape or the Kendrick Lamar EP over Good Kid or Section 80. He really has a stellar body of work to still be relatively new to the game.
