One of. I still think Tom Holland is another genius behind the scenes considering he thought of the voodoo aspect of Chucky. If it wasn't for him we would've got Pinocchio's Revenge.

I was initially thinking Toy Story 4 would destroy this remake but I've had a few friends share that creepy video today and yesterday. This might get some traction.

Nah he’s straight up the creator. Well long story I’ll try to make it short tho.

He wrote the script when he was young. Like still in film school. Orion or mgm or universal bought his script (which is why they still own the rights to the first child’s play and can remake it) and they brought a couple new writers in. Tom Holland then did a rewrite on it but kept most of what Mancini had.

Child’s play 2 starts production and that’s when he really got involved since he was allowed to be the only writer and be on set etc. he and the producer formed a real bond and they’ve been taking care of the series from 2 till now. And they’re doing a tv show.

I cant say all that but the voodoo aspect is gone from what i read. Basically chucky is some sort of self aware robot. Also what is going on with all these chucky spin off tv shows and movies? I know the original creator is still in the process of making a sequel to last one.
