I don't fall for that separation of blacks between rich and poor, but we all know the epitome of blackness is in the hood not in the burbs.

Except blacks in the hood dont speak for everyone else, nor do they determine anyones blackness and whether or not they know the "black experience". Yall dont have a monopoly on that. Cut the shyt.
Also, not everyone in the suburbs are well off. There are poor and working class suburban people. People need to quit using their limited perception to try and paint everything and everyone with a broad brush. You only look foolish. Anything from fashion, music, slang, etc all originates in the hood. A lot of black people in the burbs are our of touch and I know its people in the burbs if they lost their job they be homeles but that says a lot about them, you rather struggle in the burbs than be in the hood.

Remember this the hood wouldn't the hood if these so called black people didn't leave.
