Who else has $0 in the bank though like me? I have no personal savings besides my 401k if that counts...

My only debt left is a 10k credit card that hasn't been paid on in over 4 years and has been sold off to collectors (multiple times.) At this point is it worth to seek a deal on it and pay it off or let statue of limitations run out on it then dispute it?

I paid off about 15k in CC like two years ago. paying for classes for a degree i never got, two trips to Vegas and too much eating out caused it to go so high. a low wage job and high interest didn't help either. now i have less than $300 owed. bad thing is i owe 25k on a car i purchased last month. sent first payment yesterday. first time I've had a car note. credit score was higher than i thought so got decent interest on it.

it's good that you have a 401k but that's retirement money. not like you can pull it out now anyways without a penalty. i try and save a set amount from every paycheck myself. never know what night come up.

I owe $500 on my car and I only have about 13k left on my personal house... I will be eating very well without a car note and even better next year when I no longer have a mortgage...:ehh: not bad, I will be 26 with a home that's paid for...

:noah:

Now that's the *real* american dream right there.
