He has, but even he admits he started blowing up more after going on IG live doing impressions during the pandemic. Now he's getting more exposure. Once the Charlemagne and shulz podcast starts he says "finally, I made it to this podcast I been a fan for years" then later speaks about looking forward to doing Rogan

Like it or not, whoever goes on rogans podcast gets a major push in followers. Everyone talks about the "Rogan effect", a lot of people have become overnight "celebrities" after doing Joe's podcast once. Joe averages 11 million views per episode and he's cranking out 3 or 4 per week

Lmfao yeah all the black comedians we grew up on in they 50s now or 40s at youngest. Crazy thing is i cant even say i see a “new gen” who will take their place. Maybe its because Comicview and stuff dont exist anymore but it feels like this skit stuff is gonna replace stand up or something

Up next? Doubt it. He's been around forever. People that know comedy and know movies know who he is. If he's getting a gig on ABC/FOX/NBC/CBS or even a cable network Comedy Central/TBS/TNT/E!.....then he might be the household name but plenty of people know him by name and if they don't know his name, they've seen him in something and know he's funny.

Godfrey has definitely been out there but he has never been a household name or ever dropped a major special. People just found out how great his range of impersonations is about 2 years ago, and since then he has been on a steady climb.

These podcast are going to give him a major push, he can drop a dope special and show off his Steve Harvey, Trump, Bernie Mac impressions to a wider audience similar to Eddie Murphy on delirious. Not saying it's going to be on that level but he has the potential
