im gonna be honest breh...I only know what serato is after hearing "u aint got no fukkin yeezy in ur serato" on kanyes album, and then googling it..but kanye is a gawd...so im guessing serato is the tools of a gawd..so i think its safe to say u should be usin that program

i used it for months, and no one knew the difference.. if you know how to work it, there's really no difference.. you can map your keyboard to be a controller..

the actual controller is what really makes a world of difference.. its basically a midi..

traktor got a lot of bells n whistles for that electric dance shyt (fukkin techno)
dont do what i did.. get that serato and call it a day\

i got one of these in trade for doing a few sets at a friends venue.. you can map it to basically do whatever you need..

if you just wanna DJ(not talking super beat-juggling, DMC type turntable gymnastics), and mess around on the production tip- I'd recommend something like this.. they make compact versions as well.. check around.. especially on Craigslist..
