Come to think about it, George lowkey started a trend on sitcoms with his Art Vandalay alias what made this show funny was the quotables said in serious everyday manner, very believable and often caught you off guard.

i was real late on seinfield, the larry sanders show was the only show i remember checking for like that in 90's, so i kinda missed out on seinfield.

went crazy over curb from the moment i saw it, heavy into curb, so thru that i learn about the comic genius of LD.

Which tuned me into to Seinfield, if id not been Curb'd I dont think Id have been into it that much.

I'm black & I love Fresh Prince, That 70's Show & Martin... but Seinfeld's writing is light years ahead of both in terms of substance. The writing on Seinfeld is just genuis... you don't have to laugh once & you can still be entertained...

I can't think of anything in Fresh Prince or That 70's Show or Martin that is even remotely clever enough to be put on the same level as Art Vandelay...

I could watch Seinfeld all day everyday... the others I can only take in doses...

But to each his own...
