Yeah I actually beat him in 5-6 tries. Way easier compared to the butterfly bytch but I enjoyed his lil backstory and him just killing everyone trying to get in the gates
i can't get the parrying down.. and i'm playing this like Bloodbourn. It's discouraging to see the enemies posture go back up after only a few hits. How do you maintain the attack and defend at the same time?
keep failing till you get it. Bath in the fires of True Skill. Eventually you'll stop playing like trash

Beat Chained Ogre. Only took me like 5 tries or so.
Lol first time I faced him, he literally did the reverse powerbomb immediately and threw me off the fukking cliff so I just died with no chance to resurrect.
Probably the hardest thing about this game is not getting greedy. You have to manage your offense and reign yourself in. "Just one more hit" can be the difference between easy work and getting bodied. Especially since bosses kill in 1-2 hits, at least early on

@ "Souls veterans" getting worked in this game. Game is challenging but nothing too hard, yall gotta stop playing this like Dark Souls and dodging. All about staying in the enemies grill and breakign their posture.

This is definitley harder than bloodbourne and the last couple souls games, died a shyt ton but after killing the first real couple of bosses (lady butterfly and the Horse rider) upgrading my flask a couple times and getting some health and arm upgrades, it’s going a lot smoother.

Did y’all rush Butterfly focusing on dodging and countering or parrying? I feel like countering is working for me but I keep falling short with an inch of her guard left
I thought I beat this bytch, but she got a whole nother form

fukk this game. I’m hella Aggressive for phase 1 weaving in hits between parrying all her attacks once you know her combos, but dodging and carefully planned hits when she’s left open after her attack’s for phase 2.
I filled her poise bar and deathblowed her first phase when she still had more than half her health, couldn’t get away with that during phase 2 with all of those unblockable butterfly’s hitting you all the time.
