Haven't completed Sekiro yet, but feel like the core gameplay is better than Bloodborne. Bloodborne's world, lore and level design is next level though. Both obviously amazing games.

But is the game better??:lupe:
I prefer Bloodborne due to the setting, music and more character customisation. Sekiro's combat is a lot tougher and more rewarding once you adjust to it.
Sekiro is excellent though and probably on target to be my second favourite From Software game and a top 5 game of this generation IMO (I've not finished it yet, Genichiro was the last boss I defeated).

I have to retire Sekiro game until June as I won't have time for games until then, so I'll start again from the beginning.

40~60fps. If you got a PC and you debating getting it on console you pouring jelly on yourself.
The main reason I'm contemplating getting it on PS4 is because my PC won't let me run the game at 60fps AND record gameplay footage.

I might grab it on PC and just hook my MacBook up to the Elgado and do the game recording that way

You have an Nvidia GPU right? If you use Nvidia's shadowplay you should have little to no performance loss.

I disagree completely. Getting to explore and take different paths is my favorite part of the game.
And there's all types of useful items. Stuff like the scrap you use to upgrade the prosthetic, some of the tools themselves can only be found if you veer off the critical path.
Not to mention, if you go out exploring, you're gonna encounter more enemies, which means more XP and more $. If anything I'd say exploring is the most important part of the game

nice analysis...thanks!

Over all good but it has the weird habit of freezing for half a second (I mean, the game will literally stop) if a lot of shyt is on screen. It happened a couple times in Hirata Estate.

But it's only happened like twice. And always in the same spots.

Fred.
