Of the few Soulsbourne games I've finished (Bloodborne, Nioh, Sekiro) this has to be my favourite. To think I was gonna bush it after my 1st hour playing it....

Only need the skills trophy for the platinum. This gonna take a while.
Platted this the other day.
I enjoyed it, setting and lore is cool, combat was great and satisfying.
I will say though I did not think it was harder than the Souls games or Bloodborne. The game was not easy by any stretch don't get me wrong, but I didn't really find any boss all that crazy. They were challenging, and fun.
I enjoyed the res mechanic, and the kind've deflect, strike at the right time balet you have to do with the enemies. Was a fun From offshoot, def recommend.

NG+ is a breeze, crazy in comparison to how much I initially struggled. Running through these bosses like regular enemies
Just beat The Owl (was easier than expected especially with the umbrella hate it had to be him ) and caught a fluke win off The Monk 
. Definitely running this game back and picking to stick with the iron code. Havent had this much fun (and challenge) in a game in a long time.

I straight up skip the demon of hatred and walk into Ishin 
Edit: Beat the Saint
F***er was hard, pulled out the straps and lightning. Probably due to it being more in touch with Japanese mythos, but this is the only SoulsBorne game which the lore kinda is leaving me in the dark. Confusing a bit, welp gotta beat the Demon of Hatred and then on to new game+ for the other route.

Yeah, also have that purple gourd or pacifying agent on deck, she's sneaky with that acid attack.

Get back to Demon of Hatred. No need to skip. That would up being my favorite boss in the game.
I will say get the Suzaku/Flame Umbrella first. Helps immensely in that fight.
You can only increase attack power by using memories. You only get those when you beat bosses

That’ll give me something to look for in NG+
