And the same goofies think having a Self Driving 80,000 lb Truck will work

Aircraft today have those exact systems that you are talking about..
I’m just saying I’m regards to AI/Liadrr performing takes offs and landing.. measuring altitude and ground distance.. calculating distance from cruising altitude to the airport and when the plane can start descent and automatically adjusting speedflight systems typically use quorum voting and are far less (if at all) concerned with AI interpretation visual images while in the sky. possibly on the ground but i don't know.
can you be more specific?
control systems have existed for a while (pre-programmed/specified behaviour) - see TV remote control, see elevator, see autopilot flight, see car brakes, see reboot manufacturing, see automated food dispenser.
this is not the same as a (self-learning) AI model.
he a genius tho
Wasn’t there a major glitch where the auto drive didn’t recognize Black and darker skinned folks at one point?
Honestly the shyt is only good in bumper to bumper trafficThis is the reason I barely use my self driving. It makes dumb decisions in the city and side streets and on highways I’ve had the phantom breaking problem a lot. And at speeds up to 80mph. I know some have blamed it on the sun but I’ve had it happen on cloudy days too.
I trust the full self driving 2 to 3 minutes at a time. Mostly while I text or eat or browse for music on long drives. And in literal slow moving heavy heavy stop-and-go highway and side street traffic. Where I know no one is going to plow into the back of me if the car decides to brake out of nowhere.
Otherwise FSD is hot garbage. Tesla moved to a camera only self driving system to cheap out on parts, increase their margins, and as a solution to covid chip supply issues. They lied to everyone that it was a technology decision that wouldn’t compromise safety. When in reality it was a business decision that did the exact opposite.
I like the car otherwise. But I’m sick of the nonsense on the side that comes with owning one. Especially with long term support and maintenance being tied to the CEO not tanking the company out of existence with his mouth.
Soon as the Polaris 3 drops or the Volvo XE90 we are going to trade in.
There are a lot of drivers being dumbasses with the FSD tho. There is an interior camera which I’m pretty sure is recording when you use autopilot and FSD. Anytime you honk and slam on breaks it records and stores video (and I’m sure it’ll keep the footage at minimum a few seconds before to see the road and interior prior to the honk/slamming of breaks). When everybody was on his dikk they were saying this stuff wasn’t his fault. That the driver must’ve did something wrong. I knew people were psychos when I read stuff like that. Now he’s no longer as well liked, people see it for what it is. This technology is not ready for the road and the fact that he gets a pass from Congress to make test dummies out of human beings is disgusting. Test them shyts in a desert somewhere in Arizona or New Mexico, far away from people. You can create all the fake roads and experiments there![]()
Yeah after my Cybertruck, I’ll probably hop to another provider as long as the 3rd party fast charging network is comparable enough to the Superchargers. Right now it isn’t remotely close and that’s the major dealbreaker for me.This is the reason I barely use my self driving. gotta wait till Apple perfects it

Apple Self-Driving EV Delayed to 2026, Likely to Start under $100,000
The tech corporation aims for the car to be fully autonomous on the highway, but has ditched a pod-like design and will include traditional driving controls in the cabin.www.caranddriver.com
Self driving vehicles will be highly useful. They just aren't nearly ready for practical use.solving a problem that didn't exist. I'll never use this shyt if my car came with it.

i don't think that camera only self-driving (tesla) is going to work anytime soon. as elon/twatter himself admits you need to solve visual AI to solve the driving issue and I think that will take a bit longer. creh needs lidar / radar.

Ok boomerUntil its 1000% safe its useless
