In my second semester of college, I found a job as a loan officer and thought I was going to drop out. When I found out I had to stand around in a swap meet and solicit random people to sign up for mortgages (pre-2008), I went back. Many people drop out because they've already found a job. I now understand you reach a ceiling without further schooling (if you work for someone else).

I value education and have degrees, but I’ve often thought college doesn’t really teach you anything. You learn more when you do it yourself. Like, I never really thought teachers were beneficial. I got A grades in almost everything, but that was just by reading the chapters a few days before the exam. My professors never enlightened me with their takes on things. I could have gotten the same grades if the professors didn’t exist at all. Personally, I learn by doing the reading on my own and trying to figure out the theory in my head. Getting As in school is basically a memory test. You can memorize the shyt and pass the test with very little effort. For me, I had to actually do the shyt in the real world for me to truly understand it :yeshrug:

Zuckerbeg and them dropped out of an Ivy college with millions in investor money and a solid network of wealthy individuals who are a phone call away should he need some help.

Brehs coming from poor hoods dropping out of an HBCU with zero network are setting themselves up for failure.

You shouldn't go to college in 2021 because you can learn whatever you want for free. Go to college and at 22 you'll have 160k debt.. Start working at 18 and you can have 4 years experience by the time dude gets out school and you're 80k+ saved.. You take that money and invest it and 90% of the time you'll have more money than the college student.

I'm a millionaire with no college at all. Someone in my family said damn i wish i didn't go to college because I'm making more money, have 0 debt, and winning.

College education doesn't beat experience on job.

Bill Gates got better education and connections by the time he was 7 than most Americans.

This. For the longest time I had no idea how connected bill gates mom was.

I thought he was a "right place at the right time" story until I learned that his mom sat on the same board as the ibm ceo whom she then convinced to take a chance on her son's new company.

what are you even talking about? What kind of job are you getting in high school? People go to school to start careers, not jobs. A career is the goal.

The only way I’d suggest not going to school is if you’re going into the trades..there are some exceptions.

people like to focus on the ones who made it but not the ones who failed. Those billionaires also likely have skill/gifts that the average person just does not.

:francis: you're more likely to be homeless than a millionaire by not going to school. Income statistics back this up. All that free information shyt you just said is still available if you go to school...
Even if that statistic you said is true, that the majority of millionaires aren't college educated, the majority of people aren't millionaires.

Edit: That statistic you said about majority of millionaires not being college educated is false :mjlol:

Black ppl definitely need to be in college.
