I came from nothing
Hey all,
So after some time i have decided to pursue a career in I.T. because im naturally good at computers and the money is fantastic. First I was going to go the a+ > network + > security+ route, but after doing some research, it makes more fiscal and logical sense to start with the CCNA.
There is a course for it at my local community college but i decided to save 5K and learn my self. Here is what im using to study:
NetworKing
Im watching the videos on that YouTube channel and taking notes.
I am also reading the Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide By Tod Lammle, Seventh Edition.
What i want to know is if that is enough. I dont have any access to switches or routers but I am willing to learn the best i can. If theres any brehs that can help point me in the right direction or perhaps even mentor me, id be grateful. Im located in Atlanta so theres a lot of opportunity that I do not want to miss
