This, pretty much. One should know the type of games they are buying and how the replay value sits with them before making the choice of going hardcopy or digital.
For instance I'd never buy a seasonal sports game digital since I know the minute the new one arrives I'm selling the old and never going back to it. Digital games I get are either free though owning Psn plus or LIVE, or I got it heavily discounted through a sale or bought it knowing I'd never want to part with it.
the only reason I got these games digitally is because I share games with my brother and we both go half on the digital downloads so we both can play a 2 player co-op, battlefield online on 2 different PS4s
I hate buying games digitally but I basically copped 30 bucks for MGS5, GTA5, MKX through game sharing.. I would've sold them on EBay like I always do if I copped a physical disc

To the right person it probably does. Im sure plenty of people would pay an extra hundred or so for a bunch of games. Say if there's like 15 or 20. A handful of which the person actually wants

I hear you, but I guess what me and a few others would like to know is why you chose to buy these games digitally at what I'm assuming is full price since you said your bro kicks in so you only pay half, which would be 30 instead of buying a tangible copy you could sell and recoup some of that quid? for a cat like me who lives in the Caribbean where it's harder to get physical games without paying tax or some trumped up store price, Digital games are kind of a godsend despite disliking the fact that I own these games for as long as the Console gods decide to make them available for my use along with the fact that I can't sell 'em.
