baseball players get paid what they do because of simple market forces like supply and demand...

there's no supply/demand dynamic that supports 100 million dollar contracts for baseball players. it's completely arbitrary. first, baseball talent isn't a commodity. second, it isn't something that can be sold on the market. it's entertainment, and like most popular entertainment, the salaries are governed by greed more than actual supply and demand.
