They are throwing shyt out there to see what sticks. If this is popular among their base they will run with it. I can see them doing this and pivoting to attacking the black community but attacking the single mother aspect. Recall how I commented on disaffected black males and how they have voting power? They won't vote republican but I can see them demanding even more from democrats or voting third party or not voting at all. Republicans are stupid and will likely bungle this but if they don't, some people on this board will owe me an apology.
there are several ways someone can not have a father in their daily lives but not have a single mom ie soldier, prisoner. i just don't think your average republican would be preaching the idea we need less of those

They're not dumb, they just know their voters are. One of the biggest mistakes people make is thinking these rethuglican politicians are stupid or poorly educated in any way. A lot of these MFs went to Yale, Duke, Cornell, Fordham, Auburn, UPenn, Harvard, Rutgers, etc. They received top notch educations often in law, business or civics. They are FAR from dumb.
But this is also why they've been pushing to demonize higher education and NOW damn near any kind of education at all. It's why they push the "college campuses have become WOKE liberal cesspools" narrative. They can't have their base seeking higher ed or learning critical thinking skills. They need those idiot voters to keep thinking coal is still a viable industry in the 2020s and that CRT is when black people exist.
This. They know their history, even if they act like they don't. I would not be surprised if they eventually push for the return of forced sterilization laws which targeted black women disproportionately.

He was so careful with his wording too. Address these mass shooters directly. This don’t fall under “all violence” Going up into a school or a grocery store to spray as many people as you can is way different than other crimes that involve shootings. You can tell that he was trying to not piss his people off.
This is why they are calling regular gang related shootings “mass shootings” and running it in national news now..he is using the “fatherless” dog whistle lot of you crackers use up here. “Fatherless” is code for inner city black men..they setting it up to blame the black man for the rise in mass shootings and will just make laws tougher on us for having guns wake up
I get what he’s saying but that shyt don’t count towards cacs imo. With black people yeah it’s an issue intertwined with our violence (which is mainly restricted towards ourselves). With other folks fatherlessness is more intertwined with poverty. With cacs it don’t matter if they rich, broke, two, or one parent home, they’ll go blasting mfs for no reason EVERYWHERE.
