I love DD but im running into a stretch of players who just cheese the bunt all damn game, take forever pitching, step off the mound mad times, its infuriating

I need some tips on how to hit with power. My slugging percentage is a joke. Anything I actually hit hard is always right at someone.
Why am I getting "good" swings and aiming my bat right where the ball is pitched and getting weak foul balls and sometimes swinging strikes? I can't get anything going on offense besides singles from time to time. I have a bunch of power hitters on my team, but even when I time things right and nail the location, everything is being hit weakly.

Thursday night will be the last day to get games in. I'm gonna sim whatever series in the favor of whoever has played more games and in the event you've played one or two games against someone, those results will determine the sims results.
I don't wanna sim someone out of the playoffs so whichever teams are in first place come Thursday will be made sure to make the playoffs, the Wild card spots will be a little more tricky. Input is welcome on how to handle that but I think those who have played the most games and are close the Wild card spots will get the push.
