you should also send the tracks without any fx or eq or panning or anything (unless it's a part of the production like a filter sweep or something and even then, it may not even really be necessary). also, include a rough mix so the engineer has an idea of where you're trying to go with it.

i had someone..a long time ago, take my shyt and run with it, i didint give a fukk, i promoted like it was mine.

when i started using my mpc with pro tools way back when at a friends house this was very difficult for me to conceptualize, things were easier with fl studio so i just started using that.

I dont even track out my beats

how do u do it then? do you make em all on the mpc and then track out the final mixdown?

i'm curious cuz i used to do the same shyt on my 2000xl

this mixing shyt is on another level man...I just don't have time to for it right now...trying to learn it tho cuz i'm not trying to rely on my dude all the time to mix my shyt.
