I walked by a Mosque earlier and couldn't help but notice the separate entrances for men and women.

The truth is Muslims are cowards and that's why I hate them...yes I said hate...they're hypocrisy know no bounds...they cry and March for their rights over here (remember the I am a Muslim too March in New York?) While denying minorities in their countries those same rights they're marching for...it's illegal to be a anything but a Muslim in Saudi Arabia bt I guess the Muslims dnt care since they are not marching against that...Hamas clearly state that the Jewish population is a target so they launch hundreds of rockets at Israel without caring where they land bt they cry the moment Israel hit back..come to think of it why is Israel waiting to be hit to strike back...you got people who make your destruction their life's mission why not attack n finish them off first...the president of Turkey (which is a Muslim country) cry about the seize n occupation of Gaza as against international law while doing the same in Cyprus ...I got many more examples of why I hate these people...I would disown any family member who join that cult called Islam...

I won't go as far to say I'm an ex-Muslim, but I definitely have zero interest in the religion.
And because of that I sadly won't be able to justify it for you.

One obvious benefit of separate seating in a synagogue is that it helps ensure that the main focus is on the prayers and not on the opposite gender. There is no question that we don't act the same in a mixed crowd as we do in a same-gender one. There is nothing wrong with that. It is good and healthy that we are attracted to each other, but during prayers we shouldn't be trying to impress anyone other than G-d.

You're missing the point. Some of you guys will really go out of your way to justify this behavior.

One obvious benefit of separate seating in a restaurant is that it helps ensure that the main focus is on the meal and not on the opposite race. There is no question that we don't act the same in a mixed crowd as we do in a homogenous one. There is nothing wrong with that. It is good and healthy that we are attracted to each other, but during meals we shouldn't be trying to interact with anyone of another race.
