They offered Norman some chicken change and told him take it or leave it. They offer Stan a significant amount more even if Boots took less so if everybody else ducks then wtf is that? Plus we need to remind jokers that Boots turned down fight with Bud. Boots say Norman making his name by keeping Boots in his mouth. I like the Norman camp. They not sitting around waiting on Boots. If Boots team not careful he can get boxed out. Not to mention he don’t seem to want no parts of Ortiz so nikkas need to stop glazing bro.

The Boots vs Bud 147 Saga was Bud pretty much stated "If you wanted to fight me, why did you take the IBF route when you were ranked high in WBO?"

In retro spect they obviously saw Spence more as low hanging fruit/will be gone soon rather than "I`m with Showtime, and PBC does business with Showtime so it shouldn't be hard to schedule after the undisputed fight"

And yeah I am saying "Boots took less" to give Stan more to get the fight done (he says this in the post fight I wanna say). They were offering Norman Jr much less and I think Norman Sr was like "At least give us 250k more and we do it in Philly otherwise we can take the offered price but the fight has to be in Vegas".

The common thing Eddie does is send an unserious offer and when you want to negotiate they say you ducked lol

Most of what you say is accurate but Boots definitely wasn’t trying to give Norman shyt. The fight they wanted was Stan and I don’t knock that but talking spicy while lowballing is crazy work.

he saying they fighting in the day so UFC can have the night event but I was hearing UFC is moving their date. I got a room and usually I just fly into Vegas the morning of the fight so I can get a workout in and eat then change, but now I`m tryna see how early I need to get there

The UFC card is supposed to be in texas. Doesn't even make sense. If the ufc card does somehow happen on that day, no way boxing is taking a backseat. Turk would never allow it. Or canelo. September 13th is boxing's day. Even Dana knows it. His UFC cards been flopping for the past 2 years, which is why he's running to boxing in the first place.

UFC can't even crack 300k on ppv anymore. Ticket prices are down. Sponsorship money is down. They struck lightning in a bottle twice at the same time with McGregor and Rhonda Rousey and people thought UFC was gonna take over. They were able to ride that momentum for a while but it's done now. That will never happen again. The past 2 years have shown that america will always favor great boxing over MMA. UFC is back to being a niche sport for white trash honkeys. Dana sees the writing on the wall now.

oh yeah trust me I hear UFC is on life support (I don't watch it), because they are the defacto MMA company they tend to be able to control the narrative.

I’m not a huge Canelo fan but he has a crazy chin. To say Bud stops him is a little crazy

The strongest Bud looked was when he fought Spence and we know what that was about (SNAC, Spence being drained). He hasn’t been punching nearly on that level since then.

I'm happy Spence fans are talking tough again. I missed ya'll

ESPN has been unhappy with them for a while. They made that contract when UFC was booming, but their numbers have decreased by around 60% across the board. Not to mention, every UFC event feels like a trump rally now which has turned many people away from the sport. But mainly they just don't have exciting young talent anymore and the fights have been garbage.

Boxing has completely taken momentum back, and with turk pouring billions into the sport I doubt that ever changes. Boxing is in a great place right now. As long as they keep making the fights people want and developing the young talent boxing should be good for a while.
