The odds opened at -250 for canelo. Now they're down to -175 :lupe: ....wouldn't be surprised if it's dead even by fight night, or even with bud as a slight favorite. Seems like 90% of trainers and fighters are taking Crawford. Even most of the ones who picked canelo are switching sides after his performance against Scull. Lot of people think canelo is officially washed.

Ehh...

One thing I always say about a Bud fight is to look how the first two or three clinches go. Fighters don't usually understand how strong he is until he muscles them out of it. If he can stand his ground or out muscle Canelo, it could make for an interesting fight.

Canelo's timing needs to be better than ever for this fight. Crawford can score and get around for 12 rounds..definitely. This Canelo doing hard power punches one at a time...nah. LOL.

I already said I can't envision bud losing. But that's because he's never lost. And we've seen canelo get outboxed and frustrated before. This is one of them fights where the first few rounds should make it clear what it's gonna be. Too many questions up in the air right now. Canelo should still be the favorite in Vegas just off the side factor alone. But I think bud will be able to get his respect.

The thing that may be the equalizer is Canelo's wear and tear is catching up to him
Look at Mungia. That "Mexican Style" on top of the high number of fights plays a factor. You can already see it has effected Mungia, and he's not even 30 yet
Canelo's fighting style is a little more advanced because he can be more defensive, but style similar to a typical Mexican

That can help Crawford if he can use his advantage when it comes to timing and quickness for Canelo's decreased effectiveness with the wear and tear

My stance was that if Crawford was facing prime Canelo, which was the 2nd GGG fight up until his win against Caleb Plant to win Undisputed, then not sure I give Crawford a chance. But this current Canelo, especially in the later rounds, Crawford does have a chance
