So much animosity

RnB used to be so grand. Strings, choir, Smooth guitar, passages, epic intros.

Main stream music sounds so cheap and over commodified. The music is not worth the money

There is something about the production that has undeniably changed in the last 20 years, obviously any music genre changes and expands, evolves, but the instrumentation is fundamentally different. It all has kind of cheap or very derivative nature, even like I like some of the remakes and remixes. It had so much grandiosity and class in the 90's. It felt like adult music but all the kids loved it.

Not enough harmony. It just 808 and synths that sound gutted. It’s like they remove an element out every year

Reason why everyone rocking Asian music now because they doing our old shyt, our old writers are going over there. Modern “dance music” from those hipster YouTube channels is our old shyt.

But man even Trap House 3 and the 2008-2012 mixtape era had good instrumentation on beats.. FOR FREE
