It's not called "301 or 299" cause it's a direct Sequel and they kept "300" in it cause obviously the 1st one was a huge box office hit and also this about the revenge on the Persian King. Looks better than I expected. But it still probably should of came straight to DVD. It won't come close to making the money of the orignial and Zack Snyder isn't even directing it but producing it. But "300" influenced the piff that is "Spartcus". Even though everyone bit it, I'm glad they kept that ventage Zack Snyder style for the sequel. I'm a fan of the original but again I don't see anyone that had the chrisma and heart of Butler in his original performance. "300" was a success not just cause of the visuals, action or even the quotables but because the LEAD was a strong LEAD. But this story takes place before, during and after the Battle from the 1st film. So it's a Prequel and a Sequel in one:

how is there a trailer for a movie coming march next year and there isn't even a trailer for sin city:a dame to kill for yet
it was originally supposed to be released at the end of the summer in august, they pushed it back to march
