Probs easier to get on with the japanese angle, training, and facilities? Sponsors? who knows. Why you so mad good sir.

Not mad. Calling a spade a spade. Why couldn't she just play for the US? She has American citizenship too.

So she's actually haitian-American. Lol

Represents Japan due to sponsorship and convenience.

LOL yes. Took her mother's last name for easier access or whatever in Japan. Crazy how they were trying to make it seem like she had nothing to do with her dad, even though she basically said her does doesn't watch her matches cause he's nervous as shyt.

Osaka explained to The New York Times that even though she’s lived in Florida since she was three years old, she made the decision to play tennis for Japan primarily because of funding opportunities: Japan had more money to sponsor her.

Of growing up in a multi-cultural heritage household, Osaka has said, “I don’t necessarily feel like I’m American. I wouldn’t know what that feels like.”

Of her Japanese culture, Osaka said, “Japanese culture? I love everything about it. . . . America, I live here. I train in Florida. . . . And Haiti, if you’ve ever met a Haitian person, they are really positive, and literally if you’re friends with them, then they will do anything for you. That’s something that is a really good trait, and I’m really happy that my grandparents and my dad’s side of the family is like that.”

Yeah sounds super ashamed of her Haitian side.:ohhh:

Serena is mechanically flawed and versus Naomi who can and does generate more pace if she stays mechanically sound.
By simple mechanics and knowing Serena has flawed mechanics and is incapable of staying consistent with those mechanics versus someone with their own actual pace of shot and more sound mechanics.

You can not compete against power vs power and you lack mechanics.

Serena is all power and no mechanics.
It just takes someone who knows the game and plays with power/mechanics/ferocity to exploit on the woman side.

As a male player I can easily see this.

A casual may not though.

Okay, well now that's she's a grandslam champ :stopitslime:
Maybe she'll play for Haiti so they can have the resources so other mixed players like herself won't have to run to colonizers and change their last names to gain funding to pursue their sport. :ohhh:

He basically stole the Williams blueprint and self trained both his daughters . This narrative is bullshyt, these girls are black af, and live in Miami / South Florida since they were 3. They just smart because they knew they could get bigger sponsorship in Japan vs US especially with serena, Venus, and Sloan in the way
