i missed this can someone breakdown a non-biased cliff-notes version of what happened?

- Serena was facing a new rising star in the final
- match was going badly for Serena
- umpire gave her a penalty (for breaking her racket in frustration)
- Serena tears and meltdown followed, generating more penalties, she blamed him for messing her already bad game
- She lost
- Winner felt she had to apologize for... winning.

Why doesn't she play for Haiti? Why doesn't she have her FATHER'S HAITIAN last name.

Again, keep falling for pandering bull shyt. Lol

Because

1. She was BORN in Japan

2. Her father (whom still married to her mother) decided she should be called by his wife's madam name so she can be accepted to the Japanese society

3. Her father (again) chose her to join the Japanese Tennis Association over the American Tennis Association (Haiti doesn't have one) because her was born there.

But her entire time, every time she REPPED HAITI.

its especially funny because you can tell by her mannerisms that she is influenced by Japanese.

She bows and has the demeanor of a Japanese person.

I dunno if that's from her mother in terms of his personality and mannerism but she only lived in Japan until she was 3. Then to NYC and most of it in Little Haiti. She said herself that she had mostly a Haitian upbringing.

Nope, her dad is hatian American. She is hatian american. You can throw Japanese in there, but she has an American citizenship , she's been in America since 3 . She's American. She can rep Japan and they can call her there's. There's no way her mom could emulate fully Japanese culture in here household and upbringing living in South florida
