Yeah, Graf only won Wimbledon from 90-93 as Seles was running shyt for 2 1/2 years. Graf didn't win a major that wasn't wimbledon again until the French in '93, the first that Seles missed after she got stabbed Graf's career basically got a second wind from that stabbing as without Seles around she was able to tack on more wins at the Australian, French, and US until Hingis and Davenport took over.

don't want to be a pessimist but I am a bit
on it happenin tbh. Ppl might scream black excellence/serena dagoat and all that but she nearly had another epic choke job. The fashion in which she lost wimbledon her fav surface (with no injury this year) is the biggest indicator of just how vulnerable she is mentally now. Look at her reactions when the wind teamed up with azeranka to conspire against her. She's just not that mentally tough fighter she once was, she's still there physically but u c more and more of these pups hanging with her on the baseline. Its only a matter of time before the wheels fall off. The fact that she's achieved this much @ 31 is commendable
