Laidbackman
All Star
I'm not supporting Serena, but I do understand her sister wasn't really a target. She was parked in front of a crack house a minute too long in a SUV, along with her boyfriend, and got mistaken for one of the gang rivals. And they fired at the vehicle. I read her sister was a nurse who wanted to make it on her own, without the help of her rich and famous sisters, however she was living in a half-million dollar home. And I'm sure that wasn't no cheap SUV she was in. This should have never happened to her. So many who rise outta the hood, get messed up going back to hang. I know her sister wasn't no star, but if I had a little sibling, who I had to babysit growing up, who became rich and famous on that level, who was willing to share his riches with me, I'd be driving around a rich part of Beverly Hills, hanging with a rich sister as girlfriend, who would keep me from going back to the hood.
But I'm not gonna lie, I've done what Serena's sister did several times when I was young, feeling somewhat invincible because that was the street I was born on, etc... I was very lucky, because that place had a history of gun fire. But I would never stop, or even park there. I'd just lock my doors, and drive pass 20 or 30 drug dealers, as they'd come rushing up to my car, on both sides...which was risky enough. I would never do that today, especially while taking somebody with me like I did sometimes, when they didn't even know the area, or exactly what street I was about to drive up. It was like driving through a part of some wildlife reserve park, where you had to lock the doors, so no animals would get in.
As far as Serena doing that dance, maybe she knows something we don't. Who knows.
