He was disapointting last nite, perkins was a mess. Id rather see collison start. He wasnt too bad. If it wasnt for fish and durant it wouldve been worse. Durant needs to just be a hog if nobody is willing to step up besides fish.

Ibaka's such a great shooter from inside and outside 16 feet that he's shooting 38% since Westbrook went down (six games now, not two). The team needs him more than ever and unsurprisingly he's not producing. He had one miracle series against the Spurs (really just one miracle game) and you're gassing up his performances in the past? :what:

So his regression in production has nothing to do with his PG being out?

I'm not gassing up his performances in the past, you're downplaying them, as if Asik (of all people) has had the same amount of offensive impact throughout his career. there's no logical explanation for your argument, none.

you just can't stop :troll:ng with your agenda...

You always move the goalposts to suit your argument. :heh:

You gassed up his offensive abilities, but now he needs his PG to produce? Durant is one of the two or three best players in the league and that's not enough for Ibaka to get open looks? :yao: He's been racking up assists all postseason, even before Westbrook went down.

Ibaka's had a few good games in the postseason. No different than Asik.

I'm the one that's moving the goalposts? That's all you seem to be doing. I give evidence to say why he's BETTER than Asik offensively and you say 'oh so are you saying he's this great offensive player now'.... i say he's better at guarding on the perimeter... and you follow with "so are you saying he's a force at PNR defending".... like all this extra shyt that's not needed.

you have no argument, so you're making imaginary ones out of the statements im posting.

im not comparing ibaka to anyone else, but asik.

im not gassin them up. you're downplaying them. all im saying that in comparison to asik, he's better at x and y, im not saying he's better than another player offensively, just asik. you're clutching at straws, because you have no argument. im giving reason as to why he's not producing on offense, westbrook is one of them... anybody could tell you this. whats durant attracting attention got to do with ibaka getting open looks?

dont you realise that without westbrook, that's one less offensive threat memphis has to worry about? oh i forgot, ibaka's getting all these open looks because memphis is focussing on thabo and perkins :shaq2:

what does durant racking up assists got do with westbrook running the offense, and feeding ibaka?

ibaka/westbrook have been one of the most efficent combos in the league the last few seasons:

SportVu Technology recently posted a study where they researched the highest field goal percentages by passer. They tracked every pass thrown by every NBA player so far this season.

Up there in the top combinations is Westbrook and Ibaka. Ibaka shoots .634 percent on passes from Westbrook. Most of those passes are Westbrook kicking out to Ibaka on pick-and-pops for midrange jumpers or Westbrook finding Ibaka on cuts for dunks and layups.

and that has nothing to do with his latest regression?

Ibaka's had a few good games in the postseason. No different than Asik.

:dead:

go and make a poll right now and see how many people would agree with asik and ibaka being the same offensively.....
