But overall losing Oladipo for Ibaka and then trading Ibaka was dumb.

He's a piss-poor shooter, a WOAT free throw shooter, and doesn't stretch the floor like Oak or Boogie (or even Blake). But he would certainly help us in rebounding and defense.

It would boil down to whether Stevens feels like Drummond's defensive prowess and rebounding is worth his limited offense/WOAT free throw shooting.

I don't think so.

It's a good trade for the raptors. The pick is garbage and Ross isn't a huge loss cause it opens up time for Powell.


Even if Ibaka leaves in the offseason, it's still a good trade. If he plays well on a that goes at least two rounds, he will get paid.

Smart trade for the Raptors, with Kevin Love out they smell blood in the water. Ibaka actually solves some of the times bigger weaknesses.

offensively they will be better also..

the raptors have officially become dangerous

They need to upgrade the wing depth. Ross was their only consistently decent wing outside of the big 2. But adding Ibaka was definitely a need.

His offense is solid, his defense isn't no where near where it used to be but his offense is solid. I would say good. Defensively, he's not the athlete he used to be.
