Years back, I remember when Public Enemy with Fight the Power was up against EDIT: Young MC. And, they lost to some one hit wonder who made a ripple so small it probably didn't touch the tub walls.
Don't forget people handing out these awards are basically out-of-touch execs and whatnot. Grammys are great for the artist to get legitimacy and free PR, but they don't mean who's the best especially if you're edgy.
