That doesn't even make sense in 2003 he sold more/the same as her and in 2009 he did it again and they've been going pretty even. (Her international reach is on another level though).
Jay-z fans generally don't care about Beyonce, and Beyonce fans generally don't care about Jay-z. It's just like Tyga being married to one of the most known people and still sold like 3k.

He'd still be leeching kanye to death. Notice he only completely latched onto Beyoncé once it was obvious kanye was washed and not worth the hassle anymore
:camby:

Kanye needed Jay more than Jay needed him. Where woukd Kanye be if he never made beats for Jay? Jay was already hige before Kanye. Jay already had huge hits and critical acclaim. Kanye didn't become a sought aftet producer until after he did "This Can't Be Life" and more notably "Izzo" for Jay.

Kanye hasn't had a huge album or single since the one he did for Jay.

Before Jay Z, Beyonce had a flopped single as a solo artist and the label told her she didn't have a hit song. "Bonnie & Clyde" helped establish her as a solo and her single "Crazy In Love" catapulted her into superstardom. "Bu, bu Beyonce was a superstar since Destiny's Child". Yeah, she was so huge, the label made Kelly Rowland's solo a priority over Beyonce's after Beyonce's Neptunes produced "Work It Out" flopped at at time when everything they produced was a hit.

Beyonce helped Jay and Jay helped Beyonce. Beyonce helped Jay do damage control in regard to his image after "Ether". Jay dropped his most female friendly singles after "Ether". He pandered to females after Nas claimed he was only concerned with dissing women and called him gay. The ultimate comeback is getting the "baddest chick in the game" and dropping some female friendly songs after years of droppin misogynistic singles.

i honestly can't answer this. i do think them as a couple elevates both their profiles. if beyonce's lemonade was about her husband "jason", it 100% would not have gotten dikkrode the way it did - the chatty pattiness about them as a couple, her being cheated on by jay, the elevator & solange, fueled a lot of interest and over dissection of that album, they capitalized on their status as a celeb couple to use their "problems" to sell in a way that hasn't worked since MJB and K-Ci :heh:.

jay's core fanbase would still ride for him heavy, and he'd still be making business moves, but a lot of his "celebrity" and pop culture relevancy wouldn't be there, even at his prime, jay didn't command the type of "celebrity fanfare" he has over the past 10-12 years.

You jiggawarriors have no concept of objectivity just deepthroating penis. Everyone has a climb, a prime and a fall off. The things you are referencing are part of Jay's prime...which ended at the black album. His fall off began after that and by the time the bp3 came and went he was completely cold, to the point people questioned what he would even rap about for a whole album..which is why he steered away from solo releases for longer than he ever had in his career prior. During this time he relied heavily on Kanye/Beyonce/Rhianna features to push his albums and he used gimmicks like death of autotune/selling albums to corporations before release to maintain interest/numbers. Once Kanye reached the fall off part of his career all that "brother" shyt from Jay went out the window and now he's attached to the hip with Beyonce, changed her whole style of music and her image to be more accommodating to collab's with him and he has her singlehandedly trying to save tidal...we will see what happens when she eventually cools off

Enjoy the context and facts your cocksmoking omitted now kys
