Serious Question: If Lebron never wins a championship, but ends up with 5 or 6 MVP's

Where does Lebron rank all time with 5 o6 MVP's but no championship?

What? How? Hakeem is the most skilled post player I have ever seen and that's including McHale. Watching him work on the block was beautiful.

Big O is probably the best all around basketball player in history. He was a living breathing triple double and not in the Rondo/Kidd way either. He was a legitimate scorer, passer and rebounder. He was averaging 30+ points and I'm pretty sure they counted assists more strict back then when he played too.

Big O is DEFINITELY top 10. My last one in is between Shaq and Hakeem. I know Hakeem took Shaq to school in the finals against Orlando, but he came back from that ass whooping and got 4 rings. You can say he got lazy and even say 1 of those was on the back of Wade, but he's a 3x finals MVP. It's splitting hairs, but that gives him the edge to me.

Gotta be crazy to not have Oscar Robertson in your top 10.

And Shaq is NOT in my top 10.

did you watch Oscar play his entire career?

I don't know how you can rank Oscar ahead of Shaq based on their accomplishment. Shaq has more titles, finals MVPs, just as many MVPs, etc.

Shaq is unanimous top 10 IMO if we're basing this on accomplishments rather than just your own personal preferences.

is bill russell even a top ten big man? you gotta be kidding me having him in your all time top ten list. wilt was the only player who could compete with him in the geeksquad nba era, and he always shat on him something serious

I hate ranking those old school players. Lets be real. More than half of those guys would be scrubs in this era.

Lebron would be top 15 and arguably in the top 10. Only thing keeping Lebron back is a ring.

Look, I'm not too high on the competition back then, but 11 rings is 11 rings!

You say this but if they were around now they would have the same advantages as players do today.

smh @ shytting on Russell but putting over Wilt. Wilt was an unbelievable athlete but he took games off in crucial situations. He was selfish and is why he didn't win more than he did. Russell won and won and won. Yeah had hall of fame teammates but he played an integral role in those championships and he was even the fukking coach at the end.

Russell :win:

ya'll :cac:

11 rings because he played with like a dozen other hall of famers, at virtually the same time. bill russell is overrated as fukk. he just played on great squads in a league where there werent any other ones

I don't have Hakeem in the top ten either, though I can see why people would have him there. I got him as the seventh center on my list, behind (no order) Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Duncan, and Moses. He could easily slide in front of Moses and/or Duncan though.

Over half of them were great because of work ethic. In this era, don't you think that work ethic would translate from that era? Imagine some of the players in this era, trying to succeed without the benefits of weights.
