Usher's still relevant. The only thing holding him back for better or worse is that he doesn't want to put out an album until he feels it's ready. I say for better because he's taking his time and for worse because the wait is going to be longer for fans.

With Usher, a lot of people are like "he needs to get back with JD". JD has been a part of every Usher album since My Way. The difference is that they haven't really created anything that's been as big as "Confessions" (Pt. 1 & 2), "Burn", or "My Boo". You could argue that nothing they've done has been as good. Still, Usher has great songs produced by other producers on his albums. It's just that his work post Confessions is slept on.

I had to Google this song b/c I didn't think I'd heard it. I listened and remembered I did hear it a while back, but I turned it off after the 1st line and never listened to it again. "If you dance on a pole, that don't make u a ho" :scust: Lame. I didn't know that went double plat. Sad state of affairs. Who's gonna be listening to that song 5 years from now?

Maybe I should rephrase my question then, Is Usher relevant when it comes to making GOOD music? :francis:
I was gonna post this same shyt: pachaha:

The album after Confessions was dope. The one where he's standing on front of the car on the cover. But it was hated on simply bc it wasn't Confessions. Not much after that tho has been too good

He's relevant.... Just not "hot" right now

I can't really think of 5-10 R&B singers better than him at the moment but he is the same age as Kobe so I think his time is slowly coming to a end

I was surprised when he did an arena tour here last year (I think) off the back of no album at all.

All we want is another Confessions :to:
