TBH in 2025 he probably has more haters than fans in TLR at this point. He used to be very pro Black and most of TLR is pro Black, he regularly shytted on c00ns, etc. Around the 2020 election he started being pro MAGA but in a around the bush way, he very critical of democrats but never republicans but he refused to outright admit that he is MAGA.

A friend of mine posted his video of reviewing Coming 2 America and I thought he was hilarious. This was in 2021. I watched his stuff for humor and recall I could laugh through an entire livestream. After his Trump turn I couldn't listen to him and all he does now is try to call out "tethers" and how bad the Democrats are (which for some time his gripes were valid when he was on his pro-Black tip).

Lot of people are just stupid. Some might call it low IQ but I view it more as a collection of mental failures: poor reading comprehension, questionable education (specifically on history), poor critical thinking, and a general disdain for education that has led to the previous deficits mentioned. When people don't want basic education they'll go out their way to find information that caters to their pre-conceived notions. That's how people end up believing vaccines are bad, the earth is flat, or (in this case) black people are not from Africa. Or the weird phrenology shyt Tariq peddles. You have to just be so far gone intellectually to fall for this stuff.

Tariq is funny. He hits the nail on stuff sometimes and other times I disagree with what he says. I agree with the whole tether thing, but making it the focus of his channel is a waste of time. Should be white supremacy. But I get it, it gets engagement and views. I do agree with him that us Black Americans should delineate and be more homogeneous.

There’s a lot more people that are conservative than what people care to admit. Especially in the black community
