Serious sunblock question

I am going on a western Caribbean cruise next weekend, and would like to arm myself with some sunblock to prevent my caramel complexion from turning midnight. I have never used sunblock before because my natural protection has been enough. But I figure the sun will be blazin like a muthafucca down in the islands.
To those of you who have been down there, what kind of sun protection did you use?

It's a legit question breh. You sayin people of color don't ever need to wear sunscreen? Or get sunburned?
