They barely have a roster. Rose isn't gonna make these guys contenders
What scares me about Rose is that he has a great season,the knicks will give him a max deal of 30 miilion per year over 5 - 6 years.Rose having a good year might be the worst thing for the knicks franchise,just look at amare stoudamire.
No one is saying that.
Rose, if even 70% of what he was, puts the Knicks in position to make playoffs in the East if we fill out the roster with unknowns.
But, if we can get a couple of solid people... things get spooky.

HES GOT MORE HELP NOW THAN HES EVER HAD IN HIS CAREER....
ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY SIGN A BIG NAME.
Especially considering he was 7-1 against the Top 2 Seeds in the East this Season...
Knicks will win over 40 games if Melo and Rose are healthy for at least 65-70 games a piece. They could get to 50 if they get some more pieces that fit and if they gel immediately in camp and Hornacek will probably get some love for coach of the year.
