You can tell he wants to give dope MC's a platform but what's the point of singing monch only for him to get shelved? He can sign you but he can't green light your album if there's no way, that's probably why obie (obie > gibbs) got dropped, so he could do his thing without waiting around for the next "got your teeth" type of record, or fluke record like snitch to actually to get the ball rolling.
