I like Luke Cage, I happen to think he's a perfect superhero for our historical moment when our mortal vulnerability as a hunted group (black males) has been plastered across social media showing the world what we have always known.

The best part is that he's not a killer. He's a defender. The murderers are pieces of shyt in the show, he intentionally won't take a life, under any circumstance. I think that's a highly positive message for a black superhero to convey.
