Some of these guys are their own worst enemy. They've internalized some foolish idea of "what women want" that they probably read online and so they strike out before they get to the plate.

You don't have to look like a model
You don't have to be rich
You can still like your lame anime

Perhaps it's lack of real world experience that makes them so susceptible to these myths.

To answer this in short, cats are afraid of rejection. What's even worse is that most of these guys are in their 20s and 30s and have never talked to a bytch they don't know from a can of paint and just straight up macked to her with no fear or attachment of the outcome. These guys want to soften the blow of a face-to-face rejection buy quickly getting a bytch's phone number only to get rejected through text because they were lazy and didn't want to put in the work (mack IN PERSON) to give the bytch a reason to fukk with you. My question is what is so bad about some fukkin bytch telling you "no" or ignoring you? You never know what you might come up on if you don't even try. Not trying is beta and going for what you want no matter what happens is alpha.

I honestly think they lack confidence due to lacking certain experiences with women.

Like, think about it.

If you've never been outright clocked by a female, whether verbally or just body language-wise(she's eating you with her eyes), then actually putting yourself out there gotta be kinda scary.
I've busted pretty girls doing the look back when we pass each other, just like she busted me doing the same.
Had other girls outright glow when seeing me.
Had women say i have sexy eyes, pretty eyes, jealous of my features.
Say i look like this dude(actor they think is sexy) etc.
Had women outright approach me.
Had women call me cute/sexy, compliments out the wazoo.

And that's just my looks. Doesn't go into my personality/intelligence, etc.

All these experiences create a loop of positive feedback that informs a confident self-image, which is then an insulating buffer to rejection, and allows me to move onto the next one simply because even if that one wasn't impressed, i've been fed with positive exchanges to the point that i know someone out there will more than likely be attracted to me.

If i didn't have those positively affirming reinforcements, who's to say if i'd be a Kent or someone along those lines?

If you've never felt wanted, where does your sexual confidence and self-worth come from?

This is what happened with me. I never truly felt wanted. Or I wouldn't believe it if I heard/was told. I've been complimented though.

That is what my cousin is going through. He has grown up in a strict Haitian household, doesn't have experience with women(never kissed a chick, never went on a date) is 24, overweight miserable about his situation. So he is at a serious disadvantage. I told him straight up that to gain the confidence he needs to get in the gym to lose weight, cut off his loser bozo ass friends who are in the same situation with him, and find better friends. He never felt wanted so the best way to get sexual confidence is for him to get in shape to feel wanted. My best advice is if you lack confidence and insecure about something do something to fix it. If it is your weight, get in the gym. If it is you are broke, get a job or hustle to fix it. If you lack swag, find a dude who has swag and learn from him.

People underestimate the power of the gym.

Working out boosts your confidence, thats why those meatheads are addicted to the gym. Gym gives you that feeling of feeling like a "man"

Really, you'd need to have a survey of all the active members where they responded honestly in order to even establish something like that.
