I need answers..

Politics As Usual just came up in my shuffle and my god :banderas:

Illmatic is one of my fav's but Nas just wasn't on that fly shyt.. I'm a fly nikka so I relate more to Hov I guess :yeshrug:

The funny thing about your post is that Politics as Usual is one of my least favorite tracks on RD. I never bump that song. Clark Kent in general had the weakest beats on that entire album.

For one, the beats on Illmatic are better. I also think Nas had the better flow. Lyrically, more diverse than just hustling.

But if you like fly hustling pimp shyt, then I can see why RD would speak to you more. Politics As Usual in particular. It's very RnB.

Illmatic was a game changer...there were mad dudes out there that were on that fly mafioso spit in 1995 and 1996. Don't get me wrong RD was dope as hell and classic but illmatic was more of a standalone project than RD was. That's one of the main reasons it trumps RD. And illmatic's worst song(One Time For Your Mind) trumps most of RD's mid to better songs. So, just no.

Reasonable Doubt is one of my favorite albums ever but I skip Brooklyn's Finest (always thought I Love The Dough was better, disliked the beat and I wasn't impressed lyrically, B.I.G.'s two Pac's line is cringeworthy).

I also skip Ain't No because of Foxy that song really sticks out as one of the weaker ones on the album IMO.

Ski did Politics As Usual and it's one of my favorite instrumentals what exactly do you dislike about it? :ld:

Clark Kent did Brooklyn's Finest which I agree is a below average beat but he also did Cashmere Thoughts and Coming of Age which were great beats. :manny:
