Let's be honest here breh, a DYING and medicated kid would be happy to see ANYONE in the state they are in. If Zack Ryder came and saw them, they'd be happy. And they have to go through their channels, they contact the WWE and the WWE let's them know who is available to come.

Instead of it them asking the kid "Who would you like to see? What is your wish?"

Its all about how you phrase the request, and they are kids, they don't know the difference.

The problem is wwe and cena supporters try to act like he's the ONLY person willing to make these sacrifices for the company. Punk and Miz were put in similar if not identical efforts and weren't recognized. Going off just what WwE tells us you'd think he's the only one doing Make A Wishes requests while everyone else just says "fukk dem dying kids, I gettin this money". When in reality all the superstars and divas make just as many sacrifices as him, but don't get credited for it.


Cm Punk nailed my main issue with Cena in his pipebomb promo "I don't hate you, I hate the idea that your the best". And that's been the overarching theme in WWE since 2005. Cena has his positives but he's tiring to say the least.

Pretty much, although Punk's attitude in itself was a big reason why he wasn't considered highly to be pushed. Miz though was obviously a problem in itself.

But hey, everyone has their negatives and stuff.

Him winning all of his feuds doesnt help him along with his character basically being the same for about a decade now. He does put on good matches most times but they mostly follow the same formula up until the last few great ones he has had. And i think that is more cause of the fact that he is in the ring with the Rollins and Owens of the world.

John Cena could of been one of the greatest names of all time but look at him now..he can't do a promo without pandering, he has no all time great feuds, his matches aren't seen as legendary..all he has is Make a Wish grants and commentary putting him over. Still can't attend a HOF without getting booed out. That's what happens when you get over with something different but sell out to come up to keep that high spot.

That was when it all started..like 3 or 4 months in. He was still sorry but he got more cute with the raps..or his writer did and that started to get over with the white wigger wannabe fanbase...he was getting cheered as heel heavily by the summer of 03 and that pattern continued until his Survivor Series face turn. He started using peanuts as a prop in 2004 and added the "You can SUCK MY " finish line which had nyggas believing he was edgy...when he was a heel, he was mostly a guy who talked hard but lost when it counted. When he went face, he was impossible to beat until Carlito debuted and won that first match but they made sure he crushed Carlito big time by Survivor Series 04. This was all on Smackdown...it didn't take long after his debut on Raw for crowds to literally get sick of him..Jim Ross was painting him as a underdog but he was DOMINATING Kurt Angle and never really lost so that didn't make sense nor did it add up and he's been getting booed ever since. He also stopped rapping and started talking in his promos a couple of months before hand during that Jericho Summerslam feud and fans knew he was becoming something different and phony. They debuted that second video for his album on Raw where he was like making a parody of rap and black culture in that backyard video wrestling gimmick and fans booed the $HIT out of that.

Cena's problem is that he got over being an edgy rapper, man of the people type of character and people loved it... then as soon as he won the title, he switched brands to RAW and dropped everything that made his current character work to be the typical whitewashed, all American, company man vanilla babyface. And the fans never forgave him for it.


He got over using Hiphop as his crutch and like so many others, once he made it, he sold out. He dumbed downed his character to double his dollars, but acts as if he did nothing wrong and all the Make-A-Wish kids he helps will never change that fact. What Rock said about people being able to see through that rang true.
