Red bottom shoes! Shoes....the damn bottom of your shoes....the sole. Who the hell even sees the bottom of your shoes? And since when does it become a status symbol.

This sh*t is worse than tag checks on FUBU, Polo, Tommy when I was a youngster. What, nikkas gonna walk to you and demand to see the bottom of your feet otherwise you get clowned on?

In terms of us marketing it as being cool, yes.

I never heard of it being a selling point before now.

When people with the shoes walk, you can see the red.

A couple years ago I saw women going talking about our bosses' Louboutin, they knew they were Louboutin because of the red bottoms. All women involved were white. I didn't notice the shoes until I heard them talking about it, but you can see the red, at least on the heels.

The fact that they've been called red bottoms for years means that it's a selling point. If a girl from across the room can see the color of the bottom of another girl's shoe and know what type of shoe it and that it was expensive as fukk, that's enough to get people to want it.
