Seriously, what do kids do nowadays?

Back in the day me and my boys would be outside riding our bikes, playing every sport you could imagine (football, basketball, baseball, roller hockey, slap ball, ANYTHING), skateboarding, just exploring the environment.

These days I rarely see kids outside playing.

Am I the only one?

When’s the last time you seen a bunch of kids outside doing shyt like playing freeze tag together?

Wtf is going on?

Did I miss something? Is it the parents fault?

Parents today would rather have their children holed up in their bedroom, playing Xbox, PlayStation or on the internet, then to be outside where it’s dangerous.

And to be honest, I don’t blame them. A lack of third spaces nor having the finances to send their children there makes it difficult.

I truly feel for parents. They’re raising their children in a dystopian time. And they’re getting fatter because of this.

Nah I’m not buying that. I grew up in country’s most dangerous city IN THE late 80s and 90’s. If I could be outside with my friends in ST LOUIS during the 90’s then these whippersnappers have no excuse.

My son is always going to some gym or sport complex. When it's warmer it'll be basketball or soccer.

How easily it is forgotten just how prevalent children going missing was. ......
Thinking back on it now, it's even worse than I remember because I wasn't fully paying attention. .......
Every night in the news some kid was gone. ....... every night....

And lets be all cereal for a minute, if you was really in them streets then you know the shyt you got into and how close you came to a lot of bad endings. ....... why would you want the same for your kids? Because they will do the exact same shyt......

Cost of participation has SKYROCKETED for alot of accessible activities.......

All the people complaining about kids outside won't even go outside with the kids. ......

All that to conclude at kids will do whatever the adult in their lives tells them to do...... if you provide an activity they will participate .......
