I think its his moveset that holds him back. He got a few neckbreakers, the standing elbow drop, and the struggle wannabe rock bottom finisher.

He can cut a good promo, but his moves are boring.

ive loved Sandow the last few weeks but i didnt care for it tonight because he didnt at least get to cut a promo and sell the character..

im hoping that something catches on for him and he can be more important to the show. its obvious from crowd reactions that the fans have respect for how he's owning such wack gimmicks.

He is maybe better than the swaggers and ryders of the world but that aint shyt breh. Sandow is good but he is a gimmick and not much else. He is equal to ryback to me but even then you could sell ryback as a believable monster heel if you wanted to...

I'm conflicted with this. How many times has the WWE been successful in transitioning a comedy character into an legitimate challenger? On the other hand, what is the benefit of keeping him off of television?

I think Sandow could be the "heel challenger of the month" for a babyface champion. He doesn't strike me as WWEWHC material, but if he won, I wouldn't think of it as an egregious decision. Now my opinion precedes all of the Davey Crockett/Magneto/Lance Stephenson bullshyt. I'm referring to the infamous Cena-MITB failure.

Since the WWE has phased out 'enhancement talent', somebody's got to do it. A guy who will do the job, keep a good attitude, and be entertaining to the Little Jimmies is worth two or three melodramatic mid-carders who have hit their glass ceiling and won't shut up about it.
