Seriously, Why Is There an NBA Team in Atlanta?

so this thread starts out saying we don't deserve an NBA, now we got a dude from polluted Philadelphia taking a break from shovelling snow to tell us we are a bad sports city.

Last time I checked, only cities in USA to host the Olympics was LA and Atlanta. Thats not sports?

And what the hell does it mean to be a "good sports city"? Be cold as hell so ppl have nothing to do other than city in an arena and watch their sorry ass pro team owned by some money greedy cac? PPL in Atlanta support winning teams. If a team sucks, the city and weather are too good not to be outside doing some other form of entertainment.

it means having shytty sports fans. examples:

1. ya'll have never supported the hawks, even when they are good. 90% of America doesnt even know the Atlanta Hawks exist
2. the falcons have to pump in artificial crowd noise
3. the braves were an NL East dynasty for 15 years and ya'll dont support them
4. you've lost NHL teams on multiple occasions
5. only housewives and suburban cacs give a fukk about the olympics.
6. your olympics were also the site of a domestic terrorist attack

we are real fans, we support our teams through the thick and the thin. the eagles season ticket waiting list is 25 years long. the falcons season ticket waiting list doesn't exist.
