I was visitig relatives in Buffalo and a bunch of people protesting over Native American land threw burning tires across rhe highway driving through upstate New York. I thought it was sweet, but I was like 12 years old then.

Yup, MLK, SNCC, and other civil rights activists were "beyond dumb" too since they employed the same tactics.

If people are being oppressed and brutalized, fukk anybody else's comfortable state of affairs. Things SHOULD be shut down until these things are acknowledged and remedied. There have been no cases of people dying in ambulances due to these tactics, that is a misdirection point people insert into these debates to undermine direct action
