it's been explained to him probably hundreds of times by now. he claims there's no democratic position on the issue, the democratic positions are explained to him, then he says "So? I don't care." then he waits a while before pretending it wasn't explained to him. he bytches and moans every day and then says "i like it here."

The fact that Sessions uses Romans 13 to support his actions is quite fitting. Especially since Paul was the one who wrote Romans and was a Pharisee Jew who was a Roman citizen. Then was converted to Christianity and start preaching the Bible. In 2018, we'd call him a plant. The faulty logic he used to say that God appointed the Romans to rule over the Jews so the Jews should obey the Romans (because their word is God's word) is at best. You could argue that Paul's words were a spin on of Jesus' "give unto Caesar what Caesar and God what is God" and Matthew 10. Or even that he was trying to keep the Jews from getting persecuted by suggesting they follow the law and practice their faith in silence. But Paul seems to be giving the Empire far too much credit in their Divine Ordainness so the Empire's rule isn't threatened or disturbed. For the Empire's sake.
