The first 2 if not the first 3 seasons had lavish sets and locations. I think the final 2 seasons is when they started shooting episodes pretty much entirely in one location or set. Everything was off. Wardrobe, lighting, music, set, location....they were pretty much like people loved the story but tuned out around season 4 or 5.
