The same issues would exist. No rim protection, so close out rotation is going to lead to layups because the on ball perimeter defense is shoddy at best. No shot of running them off the 3 or doubling KD(if he was playing) off the high post without it leading to a better open shot. They can't guard KD 1:1 or effectively double/closeout to get stops when it matters. Both East teams are built better to handle those issues from GSW.

It was a crystal clear statement i thought. Steph and Klay are the #2 and #3 options when KD is there instead of 1 and 2. KD can play in the offense or go iso mode and get buckets all night long. Warriors are better with KD but the rest of them are probably easier to guard when he's there since the players and ball doesn't move as much.
